A jewelled gold owl brooch by Paul Robin,
This form is illustrated in Henri Vever's book 'French Jewellery of the Nineteenth Century', page 1014.
It is an unusual example, as it incorporates a diamond surround to the cabochon Tiger's
eye stones, as well as small rose diamonds applied to the brow of the owl.
