The substantial gauge of this posy ring is unusual most measure about 4mm

The word 'choice' is frequently found in posies communicating love. Dame Joan
Evans records a number incorporating it in her study English Posies and Posy Rings,
(London, 1931). The above posy however is not recorded by Dame Joan nor does she
list 'choies' among the many variants spellings of 'choice'
