
A seventeenth century silver Perpetual Calendar,
comprised of three joined discs, the central disc the key,
the front disc engraved CALENDAR IVMPERPETUUM with stylised floral motif
alongside the days of the week in German, each day also with a symbol,
to be rotated against the numbers of the month,
the other side engraved with each month below its astrological symbol,
number of days in the month and length of days and nights,
with the words Anno 1698.
