Faberge brooch
An Imperial jewelled presentation brooch
by Carl Fabergé,

formed as a finely chased yellow gold Imperial Double- headed
eagle mounted with a ruby shield held within a frame of rose diamonds.

In its original silk and velvet lined fitted red leather
case,  its cover gilded with the Imperial eagle

This brooch appears in the Imperial Cabinet’s Ledgers its number
mistranscribed with the following inventory number 1951. It is recorded
on 9th July 1910 as a Brooch, Eagle presented on a trip to Riga.
The brooch cost the large sum of one hundred and ten roubles
