Faberge match holder
A silver mounted hardstone match holder
by Carl Fabergé,

formed from an egg shaped sandstone mounted with silver
festoons and finely chased acanthus leaves, the egg is hollowed
out and lined with silver gilt to hold the matches which would
be struck against the sandstone.
