An ice pendant by Carl Fabergé
of irregular octagonal form composed of frosted and faceted rock crystal
bordered with old brilliant cut diamonds and applied with rose and
brilliant cut diamond set icicles.
In its original silk and velvet lined fitted hollywood box, the lid satin
stamped in Cyrillic 'Fabergé, St. Petersburg, Moscow, London'

A similar design to this jewel's is in Holmström's jewellery design book,
dated 27th June 1913. Fabergé used rock crystal, diamonds and platinum
to
the same effect in the Winter Egg given by Nicholas II to his mother the
Dowager
Tsarina Marie Feodorovna for Easter 1913.
