A silver mounted hardstone dish by Carl Fabergé
With naturalistically chased silver Chinese goose and gander
contesting a nephrite frog over an aventurine quartz
pool with water lilies.

The dish reflects Faberge's interest in Japanese and Oriental
works of art. Fabergé's was a collector of netsuke and his
