A gold mounted enamelled silver gilt case
by Carl Fabergé,

of rounded rectangular form, enamelled with alternating bands of
translucent green enamel over a dappled guillochage and
opaque white enamel, the gold mount chased with acanthus
leaves, the thumb piece a circular brilliant cut burnt orange
coloured garnet, the interior silver gilt and engraved with
the initials N.Y.R.
