Faberge brooch

A gold, enamelled and jewelled brooch in the Japanese taste
by Carl Fabergé,

of circular form enamelled translucent purple over a sunray ground,
applied with a gold mounted stem bearing rose diamond-set cherry blossoms.

Contained in its original silk and velvet lined hollywood case

This brooch is illustrated in Fabergé's Moscow catalogue of 1899, where
it was priced at 90 roubles.
