Faberge Faberge bowl cloisonne


A champleve and cloisonné enamelled silver
gilt bratina by Carl Fabergé,

gilded silver, of tapering circular form decorated with undulating swirls of champleve green
enamel foliage and stylised cloisonné enamelled green and brown cones,
the flared base enamelled with champleve quatrefoil flowers, supported
on four ball feet, the handles enamelled in the form of peacocks.

Moscow, circa 1905,
inventory number: 18925.
84 zolotniks.

15.7 cm diameter to base.

This bowl was priced at 260 roubles and requisitioned by the Soviet Government
from Fabergé's Moscow branch in 1919.
