An Art Deco Dice Brooch ,

in the form of a hexagon, with three corners joined at the centre, to create the illusion
of a three dimensional cube. Each face is set with black onyx tablets, which are shaped into
elongated discs (to maintain the illusion of three dimnensionality), as well as brilliant cut
diamonds, set in platinum.

French, circa 1925

In the language of love, the dice symbolises the chances that are taken in the pursuit of love,
as well as the randomness of who you fall in love with. This brooch is saying, 'Why not take a chance on me.'
