An Art Deco platinum and gem-set 'parrots' brooch

in the form of two parrots conversing,
their heads and breasts set with diamonds,
their beaks with onyx,
one with wings and tail feathers set with
calibré-cut sapphires and citrines,
the other with wings and tail feathers set with
calibré-cut rubies and amethysts,
on a diamond-set perch.
