An eighteenth century love jewel,

gold, in the form of a rectangular plaque with canted corners, the border set with paste in
imitation of diamonds,the central reserve glazed and enamelled deep blue with a
rebus depicting a key, a heart, and the word 'DU' ('You' in German),
symbolising 'You Hold the Key to My Heart' .
