Putti brooch

A gold and gem-set brooch,

set centrally with a sapphire bordered with diamonds, within a chased openwork gold surround
in the Art Nouveau taste, surmounted by two gold putti, derived from Cupid, each holding a diamond,
the whole suspended with a diamond and a pearl.

This is a love jewel, indicated by the putti (derived from Cupid) reclining above the sapphire
and the pearl, attribute of Venus, suspended from the brooch.
